Resonans under den synkrone frekvens

Resonans under den synkrone frekvens (SSR) er et fænomen, hvor frekvenser under den synkrone frekvens (50/60 Hz) forstærkes i elsystemer, hvilket forårsager svingninger, der kan beskadige turbiner. SSR blev først observeret i Bushland, Texas i 1977 og opstår som følge af interaktion mellem seriekompenserede transmissionslinjer og synkrongeneratorer. Forståelse og afbødning af SSR er kritisk for stabil netdrift, især med høje niveauer af seriekompensation eller kraftelektronik.
