Fully Convolutional Network (FCN)

Fully Convolutional Network (FCN), introduceret af Long, Shelhamer og Darrell ved CVPR 2015, var den første end-to-end deep learning-arkitektur trænet til at producere tætte, pixel-vise semantiske segmenteringskort fra billeder af vilkårlig størrelse. Ved at erstatte de fuldt forbundne lag i en klassificerings-CNN med konvolutionelle lag og tilføje indlært opskalering via transponerede konvolutioner og skip-connections, muliggjorde FCN den direkte forudsigelse af en klasselabel for hver pixel i et billede, hvilket etablerede skabelonen for alle efterfølgende segmenteringsarkitekturer, herunder U-Net og DeepLab.
