zk-SNARK

Et zk-SNARK (Zero-Knowledge Succinct Non-Interactive Argument of Knowledge) er et kryptografisk bevis-system, der tillader en bevisfører at overbevise en verificerer om, at en påstand er sand, uden at afsløre anden information end påstandens gyldighed. Akronymet beskriver dets nøgleegenskaber: det kræver ingen interaktion, beviser er korte (succinct), og verificering er effektiv. zk-SNARKs blev populariseret gennem deres anvendelse i Zcash kryptovalutaen, men har siden fundet anvendelse i blockchain-skaleringsløsninger, privatlivsbevarende beregninger og verificerbar databehandling.
