Ring Signatur

En ring signatur er et digitalt signaturskema, der tillader et medlem af en gruppe (ring) at signere en besked på vegne af gruppen uden at afsløre underskriverens identitet. Foreslået af Rivest, Shamir og Tauman i 2001, giver ring signaturer anonymitet for underskriveren, samtidig med at det bevises, at signaturen kommer fra et medlem af et specificeret sæt. Dette kryptografiske primitiv anvendes bredt i privatlivsbevarende applikationer, whistleblowing-systemer og anonyme beskedplatforme.
