| Resumé≠ | The IBDQ is a disease-specific quality of life measure for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Developed by Elena Irvine and colleagues in 1994, this 32-item questionnaire measures how IBD affects bowel function, systemic symptoms, emotional well-being, and social functioning. It is the most widely used quality-of-life instrument in IBD research and clinical practice. | The EORTC QLQ-C30 is the most widely used international instrument for assessing quality of life in cancer patients.
