Ækvivalent statisk analyse

Ækvivalent statisk analyse er den enkleste metode til seismisk design, der repræsenterer jordskælvseffekter som en enkelt statisk lateral kraft, der påføres i massemidtpunktet eller fordeles over bygningens højde. Standardiseret af SEAOC i 1959 og indarbejdet i moderne byggereglementer, er det den mest almindeligt anvendte metode til design af regulære bygninger.
