Hierarkisk bootstrap-simulering

Hierarkisk bootstrap-simulering er en resampling-teknik designet til data med en indlejret eller klyngeopdelt struktur — elever inden for skoler, patienter inden for hospitaler, gentagne målinger inden for subjekter. Den bevarer den naturlige gruppering af data ved at resample på hvert niveau af hierarkiet i sekvens, hvilket producerer en samplingfordeling, der korrekt afspejler både variationen mellem grupper og inden for grupper.
