Bayes-faktor test

Bayes-faktor testen, formaliseret af Harold Jeffreys i 1961, er en Bayesiansk metode til at sammenligne to konkurrerende hypoteser. I stedet for at returnere en binær afvis/behold-dom, producerer den et kontinuerligt forhold BF₁₀, der kvantificerer, hvor meget mere (eller mindre) sandsynlige dataene er under den alternative hypotese H₁ end under nulhypotesen H₀.
