Strukturel Form-Finding

Strukturel Form-Finding er en beregningsmetode til at finde strukturelle geometrier, der er effektive under givne belastninger og begrænsninger. Metoden, der blev pioneret af Heinz Schek i 1974, vender traditionelt strukturelt design om: i stedet for at pålægge en forudbestemt form og derefter analysere, om den er stærk nok, starter form-finding med belastninger og støtteforhold og udleder den optimale form, der minimerer materialeforbruget, samtidig med at sikkerhedskravene opfyldes.
