Hovedrelateret overføringsfunktion

Den hovedrelaterede overføringsfunktion (HRTF) beskriver, hvordan det menneskelige hoved, ører og torso filtrerer lyd fra forskellige retninger. HRTF'er indfanger de akustiske ændringer, der opstår, når lyd bevæger sig rundt om hovedet for at nå hvert øre, hvilket muliggør opfattelsen af lydlokalisering i 3D-rum. Målte eller modellerede HRTF'er er essentielle for at skabe overbevisende 3D-lyd gennem hovedtelefoner i virtual reality, rumlige spil og immersive lydapplikationer.
