Polytomous Differential Item Functioning (Polytomous DIF)
Polytomous differential item functioning detekuje, zda testová nebo dotazníková položka s více než dvěma uspořádanými kategoriemi odpovědí (např. škály typu Likert, položky s částečným kreditem) funguje odlišně napříč skupinami, jako je pohlaví, etnicita nebo jazykové zázemí, po kontrole latentní charakteristiky, která je měřena. Rozšiřuje klasické binární metody DIF na ordinální formáty odpovědí.
