| Shrnutí≠ | Longitudinal in-depth interviewing is a qualitative data collection technique in which the same participants are interviewed in depth on multiple occasions across a defined time span. By revisiting the same people over weeks, months, or years, researchers can trace how experiences, identities, attitudes, and meanings change — something a single interview cannot reveal. It is widely used in life-course research, health studies, education, and social policy. | Narrative analysis is a qualitative research method, synthesised canonically by Catherine Kohler Riessman (2008), that examines how individuals storise their lived experiences and construct meaning through the telling. Drawing on life history, biographical, and narrative inquiry traditions, it treats the story itself — not just its content — as the unit of analysis, attending to temporal sequence, plot structure, and the social context in which a narrative is produced. |
