ঝুঁকি-ভিত্তিক প্রতিক্রিয়া পৃষ্ঠ পদ্ধতি (Risk-based RSM) পরীক্ষামূলক অপ্টিমাইজেশান প্রক্রিয়ায় সম্ভাব্য ঝুঁকি বা নির্ভরযোগ্যতার সীমাবদ্ধতা যুক্ত করে ক্লাসিক্যাল RSM-কে প্রসারিত করে। ডিটারমিনিস্টিক অবস্থার অধীনে একটি একক সর্বোত্তম বিন্দু খোঁজার পরিবর্তে, এটি কর্মক্ষমতার লক্ষ্য অর্জনকারী ফ্যাক্টর সেটিংস সনাক্ত করে, একই সাথে নির্দিষ্ট সীমার নিচে ব্যর্থতা বা অগ্রহণযোগ্য ফলাফলের সম্ভাবনা বজায় রাখে — এটি নিরাপত্তা-সমালোচনামূলক এবং উচ্চ-পরিবর্তনশীল প্রকৌশল প্রসঙ্গে বিশেষভাবে মূল্যবান করে তোলে।
