আধা-পর্যবেক্ষিত অনুভূতি বিশ্লেষণ মতামত শ্রেণীবদ্ধকরণ (opinion classifiers) প্রশিক্ষণের জন্য অল্প সংখ্যক হাতে-লেবেলযুক্ত টেক্সট নমুনা এবং প্রচুর পরিমাণে লেবেলবিহীন টেক্সট ডেটাকে একত্রিত করে। স্ব-প্রশিক্ষণ (self-training), লেবেল প্রচার (label propagation), বা সামঞ্জস্য নিয়ন্ত্রণ (consistency regularization) এর মাধ্যমে লেবেলযুক্ত বীজ (labeled seeds) থেকে লেবেলবিহীন ডেটাতে অনুভূতি সংকেত (sentiment signals) ছড়িয়ে দিয়ে, এই পদ্ধতিটি বৃহৎ কর্পোরার লেবেল করার খরচ ছাড়াই প্রতিযোগিতামূলক নির্ভুলতা অর্জন করে।
