The Suzuki-Abe algorithm provides an efficient method for finding contours in binary images, enabling shape-based object classification and segmentation.	Blob detection is a technique for identifying regions of interest (blobs)—connected, homogeneous areas that differ from their surroundings—at multiple scales.
