Incremental Dynamic Analysis
Incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) হলো একটি পদ্ধতি যা একটি কাঠামোর উপর একক ভূমিকম্প রেকর্ডের সাথে টাইম-হিস্টোরি বিশ্লেষণ (time-history analysis) পরিচালনা করে, এবং কাঠামোটি একটি নির্দিষ্ট কর্মক্ষমতা স্তরে (performance level) পৌঁছানো বা ভেঙে না পড়া পর্যন্ত ধীরে ধীরে তীব্রতা বৃদ্ধি করে। ২০০২ সালে Vamvatsikos এবং Cornell কর্তৃক প্রবর্তিত এই পদ্ধতিটি ভূমিকম্পের তীব্রতা এবং কাঠামোগত ক্ষতি ও ভেঙে পড়ার সম্ভাবনার মধ্যে সম্পর্ক স্থাপনকারী ভঙ্গুরতা বক্ররেখা (fragility curves) তৈরি করতে কার্যকর।
