সমতুল্য স্থির বিশ্লেষণ হল সবচেয়ে সরল ভূমিকম্প নকশার পদ্ধতি, যেখানে ভূমিকম্পের প্রভাবকে ভরকেন্দ্রের উপর প্রযুক্ত একটি একক স্থির পার্শ্বীয় বল হিসাবে বা ভবনের উচ্চতা জুড়ে বণ্টিত হিসাবে উপস্থাপন করা হয়। ১৯৫৯ সালে SEAOC দ্বারা প্রমিত এবং আধুনিক ভবন কোডে অন্তর্ভুক্ত, এটি নিয়মিত ভবনগুলির নকশার জন্য সবচেয়ে বেশি ব্যবহৃত পদ্ধতি।
