TERCOM
TERCOM (Terrain Contour Matching) হলো একটি ভূখণ্ড-সহায়ক নেভিগেশন পদ্ধতি যা একটি সংরক্ষিত ডিজিটাল এলিভেশন মডেল (DEM) এর সাথে অল্টিমিটার পরিমাপের মিল রেখে অবস্থানের অনুমান সংশোধন করে। ১৯৮০-এর দশকে বোয়িং কর্তৃক ক্রুজ মিসাইল গাইডেন্সের জন্য এটি তৈরি করা হয়েছিল। TERCOM প্রতিটি অবস্থানের অনন্য ভূখণ্ডের স্বাক্ষর ব্যবহার করে জিপিএস-অপ্রাপ্য পরিবেশে নির্ভুল নেভিগেশন সক্ষম করে। TERCOM মিসাইল গাইডেন্স, স্বায়ত্তশাসিত পানির নিচের যান এবং জ্যামিং পরিস্থিতিতে পরিচালিত সিস্টেমগুলির জন্য অপরিহার্য।
