ডুবিন্স পথ (Dubins Path)
ডুবিন্স পথ হলো সমতলে দুটি বিন্দুকে সংযুক্তকারী ক্ষুদ্রতম বক্ররেখা, যেখানে প্রাথমিক ও শেষ স্পর্শক দিক নির্দিষ্ট থাকে এবং বক্রতার উপর একটি সীমাবদ্ধতা আরোপিত থাকে। ১৯৫৭ সালে লেস্টার ডুবিন্স এটি প্রবর্তন করেন। এটি ডিফারেনশিয়াল জিওমেট্রির একটি মৌলিক সমস্যার সমাধান করে এবং বিমান, হেলিকপ্টার ও স্বায়ত্তশাসিত যানবাহনের গতিপথ পরিকল্পনায় অপরিহার্য হয়ে ওঠে। একটি ডুবিন্স পথ বৃত্তাকার চাপ (circular arcs) এবং সরলরেখাংশের (straight line segments) সমন্বয়ে গঠিত, যা RSR (ডান-সরল-ডান) বা LSL (বাম-সরল-বাম) এর মতো একটি অনুক্রমে সাজানো থাকে।
