Developed by soil scientists (Lindstrom, Nelson, Lobb) in the 1990s–2000s, this method quantifies how plowing, disking, and other soil-disturbing implements physically move soil downslope, leading to long-term productivity loss on upper slopes and soil accumulation in valleys. | Irrigation Scheduling with ETo is a water balance pipeline for determining when and how much to irrigate based on reference evapotranspiration (ETo), soil properties, and crop water demand.
