اكتشاف النية هو مهمة فهم اللغة الطبيعية تصنف الغرض الكامن وراء كلام المستخدم — مثل إجراء حجز، أو طلب معلومات، أو تقديم شكوى — إلى واحدة من فئات النوايا المحددة مسبقًا. إنه مكون أساسي لفهم اللغة الطبيعية في الواجهات الحوارية وأنظمة أتمتة خدمة العملاء، بالاعتماد على معايير Larson وآخرون (2019) و Casanueva وآخرون (2020).
