التحسين الطيفي للرامان السطحي (SERS)
يعمل التحسين الطيفي للرامان السطحي (SERS) على تضخيم إشارات الرامان الضعيفة بعدة مرات من حيث الحجم عندما تمتص جزيئات المادة المراد تحليلها على أسطح معدنية مُجهزة خصيصًا (عادةً الفضة أو الذهب) ذات هياكل نانوية. اكتشف Fleischmann و Hendra و McQuillan في عام 1974، يمكّن SERS من الكشف عن التوقيعات الاهتزازية لجزيئات فردية وملوثات أثرية للغاية، مما أحدث ثورة في الكيمياء التحليلية والطب الشرعي.
