دراسة الحالة المتعددة التفسيرية هي تصميم بحث نوعي يدرس فيه الباحث حالتين أو أكثر محددتين بعمق، باستخدام موقف تفسيري لفهم كيفية بناء المشاركين للمعنى داخل كل سياق. بدلاً من السعي إلى تعميمات شبيهة بالقوانين، تهدف إلى توليد فهم غني وحساس للسياق يتم بعد ذلك مقارنته عبر الحالات للكشف عن الأنماط والتناقضات والبصائر النظرية.
