تحليل الاستعارة النقدية (CMA) هو منهج نوعي للكشف عن كيفية بناء اللغة الاستعارية لعلاقات القوة والمواقف الأيديولوجية أو إضفاء الشرعية عليها أو مناهضتها في النصوص. طوره جوناثان تشارترس-بلاك (2004)، وهو يدمج نظرية الاستعارة المفاهيمية مع الاهتمامات التقييمية لتحليل الخطاب النقدي للكشف عن العمل الإقناعي والأيديولوجي الذي تؤديه الاستعارات في الخطاب السياسي والمؤسسي والإعلامي.
