فحص فاغان (Fagan Inspection) هو عملية مراجعة رسمية ومنظمة للكود طورها مايكل فاغان في شركة IBM عام 1976، وتحدد العيوب بشكل منهجي قبل مرحلة الاختبار. باستخدام أدوار وقوائم تحقق محددة، تكون عمليات فحص فاغان أكثر فعالية بكثير في اكتشاف الأخطاء مقارنة بالمراجعات العشوائية؛ وتشير الدراسات إلى معدل اكتشاف عيوب يتراوح بين 70% و90%.
