يوسع التعلم بالنقل الفوري (OTL) نطاق التعلم بالنقل ليشمل الإعدادات المتسلسلة والمتدفقة: فبدلاً من التدريب على مجموعة بيانات ثابتة، يعالج النموذج الأمثلة واحدًا تلو الآخر ويستفيد في الوقت نفسه من المعرفة من مجال مصدر ذي صلة لتحسين التنبؤات في المجال الهدف دون الحاجة إلى مجموعات بيانات هدف كبيرة ومُصنفة مسبقًا.
