يجمع التعلم النشط الجماعي بين لجنة من النماذج المتنوعة وحلقة تعلم نشط لاختيار الأمثلة غير المسماة الأكثر إفادة للتسمية. متجذرًا في إطار الاستعلام بواسطة اللجنة الذي قدمه Seung وآخرون (1992)، فإنه يستخدم الخلاف بين أعضاء اللجنة كإشارة للشك، مما يقلل من عدد الأمثلة المسماة المطلوبة لتحقيق أداء تنبؤي قوي.
