الطريقة غير الخطية للأسوأ والأفضل (BWM) هي صيغة متغيرة من طريقة الأسوأ والأفضل (BWM) تستبدل الصياغة البرمجية الخطية بالتحسين غير الخطي. بدلاً من تقليل الحد الأقصى للانحراف (مسافة تشيبيشيف)، فإنها تقلل مجموع الانحرافات المربعة (معيار L2). يوفر هذا اشتقاقًا أكثر مرونة للأوزان ويتكيف بشكل أفضل مع التفضيلات غير المؤكدة أو الضبابية.
