The MSHQ exists in multiple versions (full form and brief forms) and has become increasingly used in clinical research, particularly in evaluating sexual outcomes in men with prostate cancer and other urologic conditions. | The Sexual Satisfaction Scale (also known as the Kansas City Sexual Satisfaction Scale) is a brief, unidimensional self-report measure designed to assess subjective satisfaction with sexual life and sexual relationships. First published by Ponticas in 2003, it comprises typically 5–7 items measuring global sexual satisfaction on simple Likert or semantic differential scales. Its brevity and conceptual clarity make it useful for rapid assessment in clinical and research settings. |
