| الملخص≠ | The Health Anxiety Questionnaire (HAQ) is a self-report measure assessing the preoccupation, worry, and avoidance behaviors related to health concerns. Developed by Lucock and colleagues in 2007, the HAQ measures the cognitive and behavioral dimensions of health anxiety (formerly called hypochondriasis). It is used to screen for and assess illness anxiety disorder and to monitor treatment response in cognitive-behavioral interventions targeting health-focused worry and illness avoidance. | The Body Vigilance Scale (BVS) is a 4-item self-report measure assessing the degree to which individuals monitor and attend to bodily sensations. Developed by Schmidt and colleagues in 2006, the BVS captures a core feature of panic disorder and anxiety: heightened interoceptive attention and body scanning. This excessive monitoring maintains anxiety by amplifying the perception of normal bodily variations, creating a feedback loop of arousal and fear. |
