Originally formalized in robotics by John Craig and adapted to biomechanics, it allows practitioners to predict endpoint location from known joint configuration. | Joint reaction force (JRF) estimation calculates the contact forces transmitted across joints during movement using inverse dynamics combined with anatomical modeling.
