Developed across multiple research groups in orthodontic and restorative dentistry, the OES quantifies patient and clinician satisfaction with dental esthetics, guiding treatment planning and outcome assessment in cosmetic and orthodontic interventions. The OES captures the patient-centered esthetic perspective, complementing objective dental measurements and enabling assessment of esthetic outcome success.
