Nursing-Sensitive Indicators
Nursing-Sensitive Indicators are quality metrics that measure healthcare outcomes significantly influenced by nursing care. Developed by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and maintained through the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI), these indicators assess hospital-acquired complications, staffing levels, nurse-sensitive outcomes, and other dimensions of care quality.
