DLQI
The DLQI is the primary patient-centered outcome measure in dermatology research and clinical practice. Developed by Andrew Finlay and Gul Khan in 1994, this 10-item self-report questionnaire quantifies the impact of skin disease on patients' daily functioning, emotional well-being, social relationships, and work capacity. It is simple, rapid, and applicable to virtually all dermatological conditions, making it the gold standard for assessing quality of life in dermatology.
