Symmetrical Components
Symmetrical Components is a mathematical technique for analyzing unbalanced three-phase electrical circuits by decomposing them into balanced component sets. Introduced by Charles Fortescue in 1918, the method transforms the complex analysis of unbalanced systems into simpler balanced equivalent circuits.
