Measuring across domains including cardiac symptom impact, activity limitations, and cardiac-related worry, it captures how congenital heart disease, acquired heart disease, and cardiac treatment affect daily functioning and well-being. Used alongside the PedsQL Generic Core Scales, it provides comprehensive assessment of cardiac-specific and general health-related quality of life.The PedsQL Diabetes Module is a 28-item disease-specific instrument developed by Varni et al. in 2003 to measure quality of life in children and adolescents with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
